FINANCING YOUR GOD-GIVEN VISION

“The silver is mine, and the gold is mine,” saith the Lord of hosts” – Haggai 2:8

A man of vision is a man that knows where God is taking him to. Lack of finance and wisdom could handicap the vision from ever becoming a reality.

Who is a wise man? And who knoweth the interpretation of a thing? A man’s wisdom maketh his face to shine and the boldness of his face shall be changed.” – Eccl. 8:1

What you need to fulfil your God-given vision is not first money, but wisdom. It still remain the principal thing. It is wisdom that gives birth to money. The application of your knowledge about principles of divine supply is the key to fulfilling that vision.

  1. You must know and believe that God delight in supplying all that is needed for His vision to be fulfilled.

“Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy one of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go” – Is. 48:17

Your knowledge of His abilities gives you strength to continue, knowing that the vision is also part of His supply.

  1. The Vision Must be God-Given

God will only finance what He commissioned. Wait and get the vision before you start praying for the provision. Where there is no purpose, supply is withdrawn. Your purpose qualifies you for the supply.

  1. The Location Must be God-Given

If the vision is from God then the location for its implementation must also be God given.

“And the Lord appeared unto him (Isaac), and said, go not down into Egypt, dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:
Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee” – Gen. 26:2,3

Every vision has a location. A vision without a location is not ripe for execution. Your provision is not your land. The land is the “WHERE” of your vision. Your land is the office where you function with less struggle and less supervision. Your audience and client are in your land. If you are in the right land your supply will come with ease in due time.

“Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him.” – Gen. 26:11

Your seed will only bring harvest if it is sown in “your land”. Your seed are not meant for any land. Scatter your seed on your land and you will be glad doing so. Your seed include your efforts, skill, gifts, money etc.

A lot of believer sow in the wrong land and expect hundredfold, rather they get trickles. Your vision will be funded if it is on the right land.

  1. The Timing Determines the Supply

“He hath made everything beautiful in his time” – Eccl. 3:11a

There is a time for the revelation of the vision and there is a time for its manifestation. You don’t give birth the day you conceive, neither can you keep the foetus from coming out when its time.

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie, though it tarry, wait for it: because it will surely come, it will not tarry” – Heb. 2:3

The widow of Zarephath was prepared for Elijah at the right time. Joseph left prison at the right time. Your suppliers will only get to you and at the right time. An impatient drive for money has aborted and distorm a lot of vision. Kingdom prosperity is meeting your need at the right time.

“Let us not be weary in well doing for in due season we shall reap if we faint not.” – Gal. 6:9

  1. The Vision Must be Executed at God’s Standard and Pattern.

Build according to what is revealed to you. Let every aspect of the vision be in accord with God’s word. He will supply the fund if the vision is being executed.

A man of God doing God’s work in God’s place at God’s time will get God’s supply. This should be your motto. You should know the work is not yours. But release your faith to receive and confess God’s promises concerning that vision. He will respond for you in Jesus’ name.
