“Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him.” Ps. 105:19
This is your much-awaited season. You have finally come to see the day you have fasted and prayed for. Everyone has his season: when life becomes exciting and fulfilling, it’s the time of manifestation. We all wait with high expectation for the time when God’s promises and vision for our lives comes to fulfillment. The biblical Joseph was a good example of someone who saw his dream comes to fulfillment.
“Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him?”
There is a time that God’s word came to fulfillment in the life of Joseph after waiting for so long. That was when his WORD CAME. God is compelled to His word. He said,
“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth. It shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” Is. 55:11
The time He sent his word was the day you got the promise or vision while the day your word comes is the day the promise is accomplished. This is that much-awaited season and I announce to you that “YOUR WORD HAS COME.”
When Joseph’s word came two vital things happened in his life. First, he was loosed and freed from prison at no cost.
“The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.” Ps. 105:20
God’s word still remains the primary key to freedom. When Joseph’s word came, he was freed. Freedom is an indication that your word has come. I strongly believe that this is your year of freedom.
Secondly, when his word came, he was promoted. Promotion is another indication that your word has come.
“He made him Lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance.” Ps. 105:21
When you are divinely lifted, you cannot be hidden. Your destiny must be tied to the word of God for Him to lift you. His promises comes like a seed that is sown and the fulfillment like the harvest.
When God’s word comes, there is healing and deliverance.
“He sent His word and healed them and delivered them from their destruction.” Ps. 107:20
Are you sick or afflicted with a disease? Just hold on to His promises on healing and remain unwavered. That you still feel the pain does not mean God has not healed you. The seed sown is about to bear fruit, then your healing will be obvious for all to see. I declare again, your word has come.
The period of waiting for God’s promises to be fulfilled could be frustrating, especially if there is not an atom of indication that something is in the working, but when the word comes there is joy that erodes away all the frustration. When Abraham’s word came, Sarah conceived, and the waiting days rounded off.
“And the Lord visited Sarah as He had said, and the Lord did unto Sarah as He had spoken.” Gen. 21:1
God will always do what He said. This is the season of change. He is sending His word to change your destiny and outfit. Job caught this revelation at a point during his trying season and made a declaration:
“…all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.” Job 14:14b.
It’s your season. Your word has come, do not miss the harvest.
You cannot miss your word if you are rightly positioned. Labourers are always in demand in God’s field. There is always something you can do for God. You don’t reap by watching. Your word is waiting for you in the field. Position yourself through service.
Solomon positioned himself for his word through giving.
“And Solomon went up thither to the brazen altar before the Lord which was at the tabernacle of the congregation, and offered a thousand burnt offerings upon it. In that night did God appeared unto Solomon, and said …” 2 Ch. 1:6-7
There is no option to giving, especially if it is done sacrificially and willingly. Abraham, Cornelius, and the Shunamite woman, the widow of Zarephath; they all positioned themselves through their giving. Remember, the waiting season, you cannot afford to miss your word now. This is your season you have been waiting for.
This is your day. YOUR WORD HAS COME.
